What is CaliSensi™?
CaliSensi™ is cannabis flower that has been certified to be grown for the optimum enjoyment of the end-user, or optimum smoke-ability. The science and art form of cannabis cultivation, curing, and processing has been perfected by our best legacy growers in California, and, as a result, our cannabis has gained a legendary reputation for top quality worldwide.
To create CaliSensi™-grade flower, our growers optimize the use of organic inputs and ensure key production metrics and timings (“cultural practices”) are executed properly to create the smoothest-smoking, cleanest-burning flowers with complex and abundant terpene profiles.
Why become CaliSensi™ Certified?
The finest cannabis in the world is from California… but why? What is it that makes our cannabis so good?
Much of what creates the absolute best cannabis flower involves organic inputs and effective IPM programs. An organic certification alone, however, does not ensure the optimal smoke-ability of the flower, as over-fertilization or poor post-harvest practices can inevitably ruin the end result.
It is the balance of the science and the art-form of producing
the best and most consistent cannabis that has come together to be described now simply
as “Certified CaliSensi™”.

The CA Cannabis Team has defined key production metrics and timings both in the cultivation phase and in post-harvest curing and processing, ensuring that only the most consistent high-grade flower is produced and packed by our partners and certified cultivators

Flower grown outside of CA can also be certified to be grown in the “CaliSensi Method” provided all key metrics and timings are followed, similar to how winemakers make sparkling wines in “Methode de Champenois” when produced outside the Champagne region of France.

CaliSensi™ is a certification, a brand, and a movement to ensure the pleasure and experience of what well-curated fine cannabis can offer is made available worldwide. Cultivators outside of California in a true Mediterranean climate are most likely to be able to achieve CaliSensi™-grade cannabis outdoors, while indoor cannabis producers can achieve certification anytime and anywhere in the world.
We offer both Organic and Conventional Certifications for CaliSensi™ and are always promoting sustainable and regenerative practices without the use of GMOs.
CaliSensi™ is primarily produced with organic inputs. However, growers who mix the best of both worlds can achieve conventional certified status by using cultural practices in alignment with the principles of the science and art of craft cannabis cultivation outlined in the certification process.
While we tend to enjoy CaliSensi™ produced organically, we recognize fine cannabis can also be produced via the judicious use of salt-based fertilizers, provided all key metrics are followed and key indicators are shown both pre-harvest and in the end-product.
CaliSensi™ is never derived from Genetically Modified Organisms which are banned in Humboldt, Santa Cruz, and San Luis Obispo counties.

TRAINING
The California Cannabis Team offers Pro training in: bulk cultivation technician educational modules, live team training, and SOP-development to help your team ensure that commercial crops of CaliSensi™-grade cannabis are consistently produced at your site during any season.
The Pro service is offered as an expanded CaliSensi™ certification package and is recommended for cultivators new to high-intensity agriculture or regenerative/organic agricultural practices, or for those who simply want to raise their cultivation bar to the next level.
